Leader Independence is a theoretical construct in leadership studies that denotes the degree to which a leader maintains autonomous decision-making and behavioral self-reliance, free from undue influence or dependency on group consensus, organizational constraints, or external pressures, thereby distinguishing it from collectivist or interdependent leadership paradigms.
