Laser Surface Oxidation

Laser Surface Oxidation is a laser surface processing technique in which the controlled exposure of a material to laser irradiation in an oxidizing environment induces the formation of a surface oxide layer, distinguished from other surface treatments by its precise spatial confinement, in-situ reaction kinetics, and reliance on photo-thermal activation to tailor surface chemistry and properties.
