Laser Ablation
Laser Ablation is a material removal process in which high-intensity laser pulses are used to vaporize or dislodge surface layers of a target material through rapid thermal and photomechanical interactions, distinguishing it from other laser-based techniques by its reliance on localized energy deposition sufficient to induce phase explosion or plasma-mediated ejection.
