Lagrangian Intersection Theory

Lagrangian Intersection Theory is a branch of symplectic geometry that studies the intersection properties of Lagrangian submanifolds within symplectic manifolds, employing tools from topology and analysis to characterize their intersection numbers, Maslov indices, and Floer homology in order to address rigidity phenomena and existence questions in symplectic topology.
