Lacanian Psychoanalysis

Lacanian Psychoanalysis is a theoretical framework within psychoanalytic philosophy and feminist theory that reinterprets Freudian psychoanalysis through the lens of structural linguistics and Hegelian dialectics, distinguishing itself by positing that the unconscious is structured like a language and that subjectivity emerges through symbolic, imaginary, and real orders mediated by the mirror stage, the Oedipus complex, and the primacy of the signifier.
