Labyrinthine Fistula

Labyrinthine Fistula is an abnormal communication between the fluid-filled inner ear labyrinth and an adjacent air-containing space, typically resulting from erosion of the bony otic capsule, which distinguishes it from other forms of inner ear pathology by permitting perilymphatic leakage and direct transmission of pressure changes affecting vestibular and auditory function.
