Labor Nursing
Labor Nursing is a specialized domain of perinatal nursing practice focused on the provision of evidence-based, woman-centered care during the physiologic process of labor and birth, distinguishing it from other perinatal subfields by its exclusive concentration on intrapartum dynamics, maternal-fetal monitoring, and non-pharmacological and pharmacological support strategies during active labor.
