Itcz Variability
ITCZ Variability is a climatological construct that denotes the spatiotemporal fluctuations in the position, intensity, and extent of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, distinguished from other atmospheric oscillations by its direct association with meridional shifts in tropical convection and convergence driven by sea surface temperature gradients, interhemispheric energy imbalances, and large-scale modes of climate variability.
