Investment Casting
Investment Casting is a precision metal casting process in which a molten metal is poured into a ceramic mold formed around a wax or thermoplastic pattern that is subsequently removed by thermal decomposition, distinguishing it from other casting methods by its use of a expendable pattern and a refractory mold to achieve high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
