Intraplate Basin Evolution
Intraplate Basin Evolution is a geological process that describes the development and structural transformation of sedimentary basins located within the interior of tectonic plates, distinguished from interplate basin systems by its occurrence distant from plate boundaries and its primary control by localized lithospheric stresses, mantle dynamics, and long-wavelength flexural responses to far-field forces.
