Internal Astigmatism

Internal Astigmatism is a type of refractive astigmatism arising from the non-spherical curvature of the internal refractive surfaces of the eye, primarily the anterior and posterior corneal surfaces and the crystalline lens, distinguished from external astigmatism by its origin within the ocular media rather than the corneal surface alone.
