Interjurisdictional Policy Diffusion

Interjurisdictional Policy Diffusion is a form of policy diffusion in which governmental or administrative units adopt policies, practices, or innovations from other geographically or politically distinct jurisdictions through mechanisms such as learning, competition, coercion, or imitation, distinguished by the horizontal spread of policies across subnational or national boundary lines rather than within a single governing authority.
