Interferon Cross-regulation
Interferon Cross-Regulation is a regulatory mechanism in the innate immune system whereby signaling pathways and transcriptional responses induced by one type of interferon modulate the activity, expression, or sensitivity of receptors and effectors associated with other interferon types, thereby shaping the magnitude and specificity of downstream antiviral and immunomodulatory outcomes.
