Interferometric Migration
Interferometric Migration is a seismic imaging method that reconstructs subsurface structures by exploiting cross-correlations of recorded wavefields to redatum or enhance illumination, distinguishing itself from conventional migration through its use of interference principles to retrieve virtual source responses without explicit knowledge of the source waveform.
