Interconnected Power System Reliability

Interconnected Power System Reliability is the reliability of a large-scale electric power system composed of multiple geographically separated and asynchronously or synchronously linked power systems that exchange power across interties, distinguished by its dependence on coordinated operation, shared reserve capacity, and the ability to maintain continuous service despite disturbances in one or more interconnected subsystems.
