Instrumental Calibration Errors

Instrumental Calibration Errors is a type of systematic error in astrometric measurements arising from inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the characterization and correction of an instrument's response, such as detector non-linearities, optical distortions, or wavelength-dependent sensitivity, which persist after calibration and propagate into positional, photometric, or spectral measurements.
