Inhour Equation

The Inhour Equation is a fundamental analytical relation in reactor kinetics that expresses the inverse of the reactor period as a function of reactivity, neutron generation time, and delayed neutron precursor dynamics, distinguishing itself by quantitatively linking reactivity insertion to the time-dependent behavior of neutron population growth in a nuclear reactor.
