Industrial Typography
Industrial Typography is a scholarly framework within the history of typography that systematically examines the development, standardization, and mechanization of type design and printing technologies during the Industrial Revolution, distinguishing it from pre-industrial and digital typographic paradigms through its focus on industrial-era production constraints, typographic uniformity, and the sociotechnical systems enabling mass communication.
