Induction Torque

Induction Torque is an electromagnetic torque produced in an induction machine due to the interaction between the rotating magnetic field in the air gap and the induced currents in the rotor conductors, distinguished from other forms of electromagnetic torque by its dependence on slip-induced rotor current rather than permanent excitation or externally supplied rotor current.
