In-sensor Computing
In-sensor computing is a research paradigm investigating the integration of computational capabilities directly within or immediately adjacent to sensor elements. This approach focuses on processing raw sensor data at the point of acquisition, minimizing data transfer to external processors and thereby enhancing efficiency in terms of power consumption, latency, and bandwidth, critical for applications in edge computing and the Internet of Things.
