Immigration Restriction

Immigration Restriction is a normative policy framework within migration ethics that constitutes the deliberate imposition of legal, economic, or bureaucratic barriers by a state or political community to limit the entry, settlement, or rights of non-citizens, distinguished from other migration governance mechanisms by its primary aim of reducing or controlling inward migration flows on moral, economic, or cultural grounds.
