Hypostyle Halls

Hypostyle Halls is an architectural construct characterized by a large interior space supported by a forest of columns that collectively create a densely columned hall, distinguishing it from other hall types through its reliance on repetitive vertical supports to bear the weight of a flat or slightly sloped roof, prominently featured in both Ancient Egyptian and Islamic monumental architecture.
