Hypersonic Aerodynamics

Hypersonic Aerodynamics is a subfield of aerodynamics that studies the behavior of airflow and the resulting forces on bodies moving at speeds typically exceeding Mach 5, where high-speed effects such as real gas behavior, thermal excitation, and shock wave–boundary layer interactions dominate the flow physics.
