Hydrothermal Processing

Hydrothermal Processing is a materials synthesis and treatment method that involves the chemical reaction of substances in aqueous solutions under elevated temperature and pressure conditions to produce or modify crystalline phases, particularly in bioceramics, or to alter the physical and nutritional properties of feed materials through thermal degradation and solubilization in aqueous environments.
