Hp-adaptivity

hp-Adaptivity is an adaptive mesh refinement strategy that, as a singular methodological construct, combines both h-refinement (spatial subdivision of elements) and p-refinement (incremental increase in the polynomial order of basis functions) to achieve optimal convergence rates and solution accuracy in numerical simulations.
