Honor-based Killings

Honor-Based Killings is a form of justifiable homicide in which an individual is killed by members of their own family or community in response to perceived moral, social, or cultural transgressions that are believed to have brought dishonor upon the group, thereby distinguishing it from other types of homicide by its grounding in patriarchal norms and collective notions of familial or communal honor.
