Homonormative Space

Homonormative Space is a type of queer space that conforms to normative ideals of heterosexuality—such as monogamy, domesticity, and gender binarism—by privileging cisgender, white, middle-class, and assimilationist LGBTQ identities while marginalizing queer forms of resistance and non-normative sexualities and genders.
