About

Holography is an optical technique for recording and reconstructing light wavefronts, thereby capturing the full three-dimensional information of an object's scattered light field. It operates by recording the interference pattern between the light scattered from an object and a coherent reference beam, encoding both amplitude and phase, which allows for the subsequent reconstruction of a volumetric image with parallax.
