High-cycle Fatigue
High-Cycle Fatigue is a fatigue regime characterized by a large number of stress cycles (typically exceeding 10^4 to 10^6 cycles) leading to material failure under relatively low amplitude, elastic stress conditions, distinguishing it from low-cycle fatigue which involves fewer cycles and significant plastic deformation.
