High Art Relations is a theoretical framework within the academic study of Pop Art that delineates the interdependent conceptual and aesthetic negotiations between canonical fine art traditions and mass-produced popular culture, distinguishing itself by analyzing how hierarchical distinctions between "high" and "low" art are constructed, challenged, and redefined within postmodern visual discourse.
