Hidden Sector Interactions

Hidden Sector Interactions is a theoretical framework in particle physics that posits the existence of non-gravitational forces acting within a secluded sector of particles that couple only weakly, if at all, to standard model particles, thereby distinguishing it from other dark matter models by enabling self-interactions among dark sector components without significant external mediation.
