Hepatic Lipase Function

Hepatic Lipase Function is a biochemical process mediated by the hepatic lipase enzyme, synthesized primarily in hepatocytes, that catalyzes the hydrolysis of triglycerides and phospholipids in remnant lipoproteins and high-density lipoproteins, thereby facilitating lipoprotein remodeling and influencing cholesterol ester redistribution in the final stages of lipoprotein metabolism.
