Helical Tomotherapy

Helical Tomotherapy is a form of image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy that delivers highly conformal radiation doses continuously as the treatment couch spirals through a rotating gantry equipped with a multileaf collimator and megavoltage computed tomography imaging, distinguishing it from conventional static-field radiotherapy techniques by enabling precise, slice-by-slice tumor targeting along the entire craniospinal axis or complex intracranial lesions such as meningiomas.
