Heat Release Analysis

Heat Release Analysis is a methodological framework in engine thermodynamics that quantifies the rate and cumulative amount of energy liberated from fuel combustion within the cylinder as a function of crank angle, enabling the assessment of combustion phasing, efficiency, and engine performance through in-cylinder pressure data.
