Harbor Circulation

Harbor Circulation is a hydrodynamic process characterized by the spatially organized movement of water within a harbor basin, driven by tidal forcing, river inflow, wind stress, and density gradients, which distinguishes it from open-coast circulation patterns by its confinement within engineered waterfront structures and its sensitivity to localized bathymetric and geometric constraints.
