Growth Restriction Factor

Growth Restriction Factor is a dimensionless parameter in solidification theory that quantifies the solute-induced limitation on grain growth kinetics by characterizing the difference between the liquidus temperature of the base alloy and the local temperature at the solid-liquid interface, relative to the slope of the liquidus line in the phase diagram.
