Group Velocity Estimation

Group Velocity Estimation is a geophysical inversion technique that characterizes the dispersion of surface waves by determining the velocity at which wave packets propagate as a function of frequency, distinguishing it from phase velocity analysis by focusing on the temporal modulation of wave energy in layered earth media.
