Group Signatures is a cryptographic protocol that enables members of a group to produce signatures on behalf of the group while preserving individual anonymity, with the added property that a designated authority can revoke anonymity if necessary, thus distinguishing it from other digital signature schemes by combining collective authenticity with traceable anonymity.
