Grain Roughness

Grain Roughness is a sedimentological parameter representing the characteristic size of sediment grains on a riverbed, used to quantify the bed's inherent roughness independent of form-induced turbulence, thereby distinguishing it from other roughness components such as form roughness in open-channel flow hydraulics.
