Gold Mobilization is a geochemical process within the formation of metamorphic ore deposits whereby gold is solubilized, transported, and redistributed from its original host mineral or rock matrix under metamorphic conditions through fluid-mediated mechanisms, distinguishing it from primary magmatic or surficial hydrothermal gold concentration processes.
