Glauber Theory

Glauber Theory is a theoretical framework in nuclear scattering that describes high-energy collisions between nuclei by treating the interaction as a multiple scattering series, where the projectile's path is assumed straight-line and the scattering amplitude is derived from the optical limit of the eikonal approximation.
