Gesture Synthesis

Gesture synthesis is a research area focused on the computational generation of artificial non-verbal body movements, such as hand and arm gestures. It investigates methods to create naturalistic, expressive, and contextually appropriate gestures, often synchronized with speech or other inputs, to enhance the communicative behavior and believability of virtual agents, robots, and digital humans.
