Gap Junction Mechanics
Gap Junction Mechanics is a theoretical framework that characterizes the physical interactions and mechanical signal transmission mediated by gap junctions in cellular networks, distinguishing it from other intercellular coupling mechanisms by explicitly modeling the viscoelastic and force-conductive properties of these direct cell-to-cell connections.
