Gamma Matrix Stability

Gamma Matrix Stability is a material property that characterizes the thermodynamic and microstructural resistance of the face-centered cubic γ phase in nickel-based superalloys to decomposition, coarsening, or transformation under high-temperature service conditions, thereby preserving the coherent, ordered γ' precipitate dispersion essential for creep and oxidation resistance.
