Galvani Potential

Galvani Potential is the electric potential difference arising across the interface between two phases in contact due to the alignment of the electrochemical potentials of electrons in the respective bulk phases, distinguishing it from other interfacial potentials by its exclusive dependence on the work required to transfer a unit charge between bulk conductors in thermodynamic equilibrium.
