Fuel Management Physics

Fuel Management Physics is a specialized branch of Fast Reactor Physics that systematically governs the optimization, deployment, and in-core management of nuclear fuel through the application of neutronic, thermal-hydraulic, and burnup modeling to sustain breeding, minimize waste, and ensure reactivity control over the reactor's operational cycle.
