Frozen Soil Interaction

Frozen Soil Interaction is a snow-hydrology process concept that investigates how the presence, phase changes, and physical properties of seasonally or perennially frozen soil mediate mass and energy exchanges between snow cover, soil, and atmosphere, thereby regulating infiltration, runoff generation, and subsurface water and heat dynamics in cold regions.
