Friction Factor Estimation

Friction Factor Estimation is a computational method in fluid dynamics that determines the dimensionless friction factor in pipe network analysis by modeling the resistance to flow due to pipe roughness and Reynolds number, distinguishing itself from other hydraulic loss prediction techniques through its reliance on empirical or semi-empirical correlations such as the Colebrook-White or Swamee-Jain equations.
