Frequency-dependent Tidal Response

Frequency-Dependent Tidal Response is a tidal dissipation model that characterizes the viscoelastic deformation of a celestial body in response to gravitational tidal forces as a function of the forcing frequency, distinguishing itself from static or frequency-independent tidal theories by explicitly accounting for the dependence of tidal lag and amplitude on the spectral components of the orbital perturbation.
