Frequency Response

**Frequency Response** is a characterization of a linear time-invariant system that specifies the steady-state magnitude and phase of its output as functions of the frequency of a sinusoidal input, typically obtained by evaluating the system’s transfer function on the imaginary (or \(j\omega\)) axis.
